12 JUN | Beauty Cluster receives an institutional visit from a delegation from Guangzhou Huangpu

On 2 June, Beauty Cluster received an institutional visit from a delegation from Guangzhou Huangpu, in a meeting aimed at strengthening international dialogue and opening up new avenues of collaboration between the European beauty ecosystem and China’s industrial and institutional landscape.

The delegation was welcomed by Adrià Martínez and Cristina Jialing, representing Beauty Cluster, who shared the organisation’s vision, its role as a meeting point for companies in the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sectors, and its commitment to innovation, internationalisation and the creation of valuable connections for its members.

The visit included the participation of institutional and business representatives from Huangpu District, including members of the Huangpu District People’s Congress, the Guangzhou International Bio Island Administrative Committee, the Guangzhou Development District Investment Promotion Bureau and Guangzhou High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd.

One of the key moments of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Guangzhou High-tech Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Beauty Cluster, an agreement that marks the beginning of a new stage of collaboration between both entities.

The agreement establishes a cooperation framework aimed at building bridges between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the European beauty industry, promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration in strategic areas for the sector.

Among the main lines of work included in the MoU are exchange on market access and regulation, connection with industrial platforms and specialised services, the exploration of investment and incubation opportunities, as well as joint participation in international activities, sector forums and business missions.

For Beauty Cluster, the signing of this agreement represents an opportunity to continue strengthening its international positioning, open up new channels of dialogue with strategic ecosystems and bring its member companies closer to potential opportunities for connection, innovation and growth in global markets.
