Barcelona, January 25, 2019. The Beauty Cluster Barcelona and FoodService Cluster have organized the session “Food & Beauty: trends, challenges and opportunities”, with the aim of detecting and promoting business projects between the beauty industry and the of food services.
The session began with the intervention of Sofia López, Business Development Manager IBERIA & AFRICA of Mintel, who spoke to us about international trends in food and beauty products. After her, Isabel Gimeno, consultant and founder of Intenso Foodservice, has continued talking about trends in the field of food and beauty, but focusing on the national market and the opportunities that both industries are currently offering.
The day has continued with a round table in which several professionals from both areas have discussed issues of regulation, marketing, formulation, trends and innovation between the food and beauty sector.
Finally, attendees have been able to see several successful cases of companies such as Beauty & Go and Marine Collagen, who have explained how they have united their passion for the world of cosmetics and nutrition to develop their business model.
