Please note:

  • This is a full time position.
  • Our Technician will be based in Barcelona.

What will be your responsibilities?

Quality Control:

  • Manage homologation processes: technical documentation checks and follow-up, filling of internal document communicating constantly with suppliers and Purchases Team to ensure smooth and quick processes.
  • Manage quality complaints and cosmetovigilance processes.
  • Analyze incidents and help with decision-making alongside the Purchases Team.
  • Learn and implement quality standards such as ISO 22716 for cosmetic products.
  • Submission and management of packaging-recovery data in Ecoembes and other EU EPR platforms.

Regulatory Affairs:

  • Creation and review of compliant cosmetic labeling.
  • Gather and manage technical, safety, and toxicological internal and external documentation for products and ingredients.
  • Support in CPNP notifications as Distributor.
  • Stay updated on EU regulations that apply to cosmetics (e.g. EC 1223/2009, RD 85/2018, REACH) and assist in ensuring them with our suppliers.

Sales/Marketing Support:

  • Provide scientific-technical support to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care teams.
  • Review and adjust internal technical information and website content for accuracy.

Minimum requirements

What are we looking for?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Preferably a Master’s in Cosmetic Science, Cosmetic Industry, or a similar field (100% completed or near completion).
  • Courses or specializations in Safety Assessment of Cosmetics are highly appreciated.
  • English proficiency (B2 or higher) is mandatory due to communication with Korean suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Korean is highly appreciated.

What will make your profile stand out?

  • At least 2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or Quality Control.
  • Knowledge of cosmetic regulations in other regions (UK, South Korea, China, USA, Middle East).
  • Experience with quality standards implementation and cosmetovigilance management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
