01 APR | Held in Madrid the first edition of the Beauty Connect

The Beauty Cluster begins its cycle of connection events between partners in Madrid with an attendance of more than 70 people.

The Beauty Connect are an initiative of the Beauty Cluster that were born with the intention of becoming a meeting day for partners in different parts of the country.

Madrid has been the city chosen to become the first meeting point. The Beauty Connect has its aim to become a space in which all members can share experiences, learn and discuss the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sector. The objective is to promote one of the strengths of the Beauty Cluster: the connection between partners.

Ivan Borrego, General Director of the Beauty Cluster, was in charge of opening the first day that brought together more than 70 people at the Hotel Melià Serrano. During the day, the different projects in which the Beauty Cluster is working to continue promoting the beauty industry were put on the tables.

Among the strategic projects for 2022, the Beauty Farmapp application, the Next In Beauty publication, the Beauty Business School entity or the Digital Beauty Awards sector awards stand out.

Beauty Connect Key Points:

  1. The partner has been able to connect with other professionals and discover the projects of the cluster. They have highlighted the dynamism of the entity that will soon celebrate 8 years since its creation.
  2. The interest of the associates in digital transformation projects, ecommerce training and new digital tools that the cluster is developing such as Beauty Farmapp or Next in Beauty has been especially relevant.
  3. From the cluster, special emphasis has been placed on the importance of jointly promoting the Beauty Business School, the first specific training entity in our industry and which, together with the partners, is co-creating specific training programs in fields such as marketing, perfumery, ecommerce, sensoriality or B2B sales.

The first edition of Beauty Connect ended with a networking cocktail in which all partners, including the Cluster’s Board of Directors, had the opportunity to meet and establish links.

The following Beauty Connect days will take place in Valencia and Barcelona. The cluster will continue betting, as it has done since its inception, on an intense schedule of connection between partners, both in person and through digital tools such as the marketplace or the supplier’s yearbook.
