15 MAY | Beauty Cluster organises Barcelona Olfaction Week 2026 and strengthens Barcelona’s international leadership in perfumery.

Barcelona, 15 May 2026. Beauty Cluster officially presented the new edition of Barcelona Olfaction Week 2026, which will take place mainly from 18 to 24 May in Barcelona, with activities aimed at both professionals and the general public. The presentation was held at Iberchem’s offices and served to highlight the positive momentum of the Spanish perfumery sector, with Spain positioned as the world’s second-largest exporter of perfumes and more than €10.124 billion in exports in 2025.

Promoted by Beauty Cluster, BOW is consolidating itself as an international meeting point around olfactory culture, sensory innovation and perfumery, bringing together perfumers, scientists, brands, cultural institutions and sector enthusiasts for more than a week.

The programme will include workshops, exhibitions, immersive experiences, specialised conferences and professional meetings, with a special focus on innovation in raw materials, sustainability, the science of smell and creativity in perfumery. In addition, this edition will strengthen the link between perfume and culture through collaborations with emblematic spaces in the city such as Palau Güell, Casa Vicens, Palau de la Música, CCCB, Park Güell and Poble Espanyol.

Highlights include the 9th Mouillette d’Argent International Perfumery Competition and Barcelona Perfume Day, dedicated to raw materials, creativity, sustainability and the evolution of contemporary perfumery.

With this new edition, Barcelona will once again become the capital of perfume culture, reinforcing the industry’s role as a driver of innovation, creativity and economic value.
