Barcelona, April 10, 2026. The Beauty Cluster held a conference on April 9 focused on cosmetic packaging, bringing together around 120 professionals from the cosmetics, perfumery, and personal care sectors at the facilities of Grupo TEB in Barcelona. The event focused on innovation, sustainability, regulation, and brand experience as key pillars to understand the present and future of packaging in the beauty industry.

The session began with a first block centered on rethinking packaging through value, purpose, and experience. Roger Jérez from TEB opened the event by presenting the organization’s work and its commitment to social inclusion through a facility specialized in cosmetic packaging. Anna Gené from We Are Aktivist then shared her perspective on perfume packaging design through a case study developed for Aristocrazy. Eva Ibáñez from Encaja Bio/Milimétrica and Mariano Lesser from Blomon addressed the relationship between creativity, sustainability, and efficiency across the value chain, while Daniel Sánchez from Rafesa highlighted the role of eco-design and the need to approach regulation as a competitive advantage.

The second block focused on innovation and the key trends transforming beauty packaging. Àlex Brossa from the Packaging Cluster analyzed the sector’s strategic challenges and the impact of factors such as sustainability, recycled materials, digitalization, and new European regulations. Manel Carmona from Vanguard Graphic explored the potential of packaging as a tool for sales and brand building, drawing on his experience with ISDIN. Silvia Sabater from ALGLASS and Silvia Hoyos from Aptar Group presented the evolution of refill solutions toward more sustainable formats, while Leonor Pascual from AINIA introduced a case study on the safe integration of post-consumer recycled materials in cosmetic packaging, in collaboration with Germaine de Capuccini.

Following a networking session, the event continued with a third block focused on the point of sale and the end consumer. Jordi Calduch from Sampling Innovations analyzed the role of sampling in the consumer experience and the importance of adapting these strategies to different channels and usage profiles. Daniel Saura from Leca Graphics presented a case study related to cellophane and its adaptation to the new regulatory context. Rafael González from Adaequo Group shared a point-of-sale visibility project developed with Casa ISDIN, while Ramon Gargallo from Visibilidad Punto de Venta focused on the transformation of beauty retail toward more experiential spaces, where packaging and product display play a decisive role.

The event concluded with a roundtable moderated by Maica García from News Packaging, featuring Francesc Morata from Noreste Estudios, Àlex Brossa from the Packaging Cluster, Anna Escribano from Rafesa, and Jordi Calduch from Sampling Innovations. The day ended with a visit to TEB’s facilities, allowing attendees to gain first-hand insight into its operations and the relevance of the cosmetics sector within the group.
