- The ‘Entrepreneurship in the Beauty sector’ program of the Beauty Business School (BBS) is the only training program on entrepreneurship in the market by and for the beauty sector.

Barcelona, February 8, 2021. The Beauty Business School, the first exclusive business school for professionals in the beauty sector, with the support of the Beauty Cluster, an entity that brings together more than 200 companies in the beauty sector, launches “Entrepreneurship in the Beauty sector ”, the first and only program on entrepreneurship by and for the beauty sector (cosmetics, perfumery and personal care).
This 100% practical program will allow the participant to work on their entrepreneurial project and get to know the sector closely, acquire knowledge, skills and tools for good business management, take the first step and undertake in a responsible, sustainable and viable way. A high-level program that will bring together excellent content, experts and collaborators from the sector willing to structure and ensure the viability of ideas with a 360-degree vision.
The training, aimed at a broad professional profile and which will begin in May 2021 virtually, is structured as a conversion funnel and will consist of 2 phases: design and validation. After passing the validation phase, the participant will have the opportunity to defend their project before an expert tribunal on the Demo Day, which will mark the beginning of the third and final phase; the launch of the idea, project or product. It will have the collaboration of experts in the different disciplines of business, entrepreneurship and financing such as ACCIÓ, the Institut Català de Finances (ICF), the pharmaceutical company Uriach, Mentactiva and Vytrus Biotech, among other organizations.
Participants will receive a BBS-accredited title that, promoted by the Beauty Cluster, develops exclusive training programs for the industry. The program is directed by Carmen Sánchez, Co-founder of Mentactiva and Muttulab, and has the collaboration of Alejandro Guirado from Vytrus Biotech and Anna Monjo of ACCIÓ as main coordinators.
In this first edition, 15 projects will be hosted and it is open to both legal entities and teams that want to create, pivot, materialize and successfully make their business idea or product come true within a dynamic sector such as beauty.
