28 SEP | AEFAA and the Beauty Cluster sign a collaboration agreement

Barcelona, September 28, 2022 – The Spanish Association of Food Fragrances and Aromas (AEFAA) and the Beauty Cluster have signed an institutional collaboration agreement during the Cosmetorium fair held in Barcelona. Both parties, represented by José Solá (president of AEFAA) and Eva Lluch (president of the Beauty Cluster) have expressed their interest in jointly promoting the perfumery and fragrance sector thanks to the complementarity of both entities. This agreement will facilitate joint work on projects and activities of interest to the sector, as well as the participation of partners from both entities in events or initiatives of each association.

In the words of Eva Lluch, president of the Beauty Cluster: ‘With this agreement we take another step so that the industry works together and we can project the sector internationally and that, from the cluster, we can offer all our support to the initiatives carried out by other associations that are complementary to our activity’. On the other hand, Josep Solá pointed out that: ‘The commitment of our association to promote the development and defense of our sector is strengthened today with the signing of this agreement with Beauty Cluster. We believe that collaboration with other associations in the value chain is essential to give greater visibility to the activities of the industry in the sector and to face together the common future challenges that we face.’

The Spanish Association of Food Fragrances and Aromas (AEFAA) today has more than 40 years of activity and comprises 36 associated companies that cover more than 79.2% of employment in the food fragrances and aromas sector and 86.9% of your total billing figure. The Beauty Cluster, created in 2014, represents the entire value chain of cosmetics, perfumery and personal care in Spain. It has 240 member companies from product creation to marketing.
