Job description:
As an operative within the air freight department at GRUP MET, you will be responsible for coordinating, launching and managing all types of air shipments for the company, whether import or export, and for any type of goods. You will also be responsible for invoicing the corresponding files and/or clients managed in your daily work.
Main responsibilities:
- Customer contact.
- Operational launch and management of shipments.
- Participation in quotations required by the department.
- Coordination with different suppliers, airlines, handling agents and international partners.
Qualifications:
- Secondary or higher education, or a related field; relevant master’s degree/certification.
- Proven work experience as an air freight operative in the sector.
- People- and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards (CEIV Pharma, GDP, ISO9001, DGR, etc.).
