Today was held the second General Assembly of theBeauty Cluster Barcelona. The event, which took place in an exceptional setting like the Gran Hotel Princesa Sofia, involving more than 70 people representing nearly 90 % of the companies associated with the cluster. During the formal part of the Assembly have addressed issues relating to governance and operational management of the company and has made a brief tour of the activity carried out during 2015.
One of the key moments was the emotional change of presidency : Lluís Rodríguez Bella Aurora Labs has given way to Montse Marti Martiderm that has greatly appreciated the effort he conducted during the first two years of the cluster and the great work done by the consolidation. In the same Assembly he has been appointed as the new vice president cluster Tim Eaves , CEO Quadpack Group, and the proper Lluis Rodriguez.
Throughout the day we have also presented the economic results of 2015 and 2016 budget by Christopher Bernal , treasurer and chief technical officer of the company CARINSA . In this regard he stressed that the cluster has exceeded all expectations of growth but nevertheless will continue with prudent, honest and transparent management.
The Assembly has also seen the development of two papers renowned experts . In the field of neuromarketing , Lluis Martinez- Ribes , founder of Martinez – Franch Consultants and professor at Esade , has talked about neuroscience applied to smartphones and how these devices are changing the relationship with the client and / or consumer ; in the field of business activity , Joan Martí , manager of the area more dynamic clusters Acció , explained the importance for companies to join under the umbrella of a cluster as a winning strategy for business development .
