September 3rd, 2018. Beauty Cluster Barcelona has participated as Scientific Partner in the 5-Continent-Congress (5CC) 2018, one of the most important events in emerging technologies and aesthetic medicine, which took place at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB).
Because of the scientific content and technological advances, this congress gathers every year international experts from all over the beauty sector. In this edition, a wide variety of scientific facets of cosmetic medicine have been covered: new technologies for skin care, chronobiology and effective anti-aging methods, growth, care and removal of hair, non-invasive cosmetic treatments based on photonics, home-use-devices, aesthetic gynecology, cutaneous oncology therapies, injectable treatments or plastic surgery for patients with facial paralysis among others.
As a novelty, this year the congress counted with live demonstrations by video conference. In this space, specialists in the sector have performed live treatments of hair restoration or facial rejuvenation by means of peptides, neurotoxins, sutures, fillers and mesotherapy.
Associates from Beauty Cluster Barcelona such as Mesoestetic, Almirall or the Capillary Technology Center (CTC) have actively participated in this new edition.
