Barcelona, 17 May 2022. The Beauty Cluster, with the collaboration of Mentactiva, will hold the Green Beauty Congress on 8 June, a 360º Spanish-speaking forum on natural cosmetics to share and exchange information and debate on the strategy and marketing of a natural product, regulation, formulation and market. This fourth edition will be dedicated to the oceans, coinciding with the celebration of their world day. As has become almost a tradition, as part of the congress activities, and with the support of Biogründl, a formulation challenge has been launched, open to the entire industry: Mentactiva students and alumni, companies associated with the cluster and the general public (Spain and Latin America).
There will be 3 finalist formulations that will be announced on 03 June 2022 through the official Instagram profiles of Mentactiva and Beauty Cluster. The winning formula of the challenge will be announced on the same day of the congress at 12.20h, according to the agenda. The winner will receive:
- Aromatic candle by Noreste Studio, personalised and made with recycled materials.
- 100% subsidised course in Formulation of natural solid cosmetics by Mentactiva.
- Guided tour of the Biogründl Station facilities.
The requirements to be met by the formulas are:
- Minimum 90% natural or of natural origin
- Active ingredient by Biogründl: Marine Collagen / A / HGL / CA 11 / (INCI: Aqua, Glycerin, AlgaeExtract, Potassium Sorbate)
- Free cosmetic form
- Target group free
- Free packaging
Minimalist formulation design will be positively valued.
You have until the 1st of June to submit your proposal, you will find the detailed rules and all the documentation of the asset attached in the form. In order to minimise the logistics of the supplier company, samples of the active ingredient will not be sent. Therefore, the proposals to be presented in the challenge must be theoretical.
