The ‘Beauty Innovation Days’ are the industry’s benchmark annual meeting that offers a 360º and international vision of innovation throughout the value chain. This edition, in the midst of a Covid-19 pandemic, digitization has not only allowed its celebration, but has also helped to internationalize the event to different geographical areas around the world. Not only have professionals from Europe, the main audience, participated, countries such as Africa, Asia-Pacific, LATAM, the Middle East and North America have also joined.
According to the Beauty Cluster, the organization of the ‘6th Beauty Innovation Days’ has been a challenge and a quick response to adapt to the new reality, always maintaining the same dynamism and with the aim of continuing to interconnect the sector and promote innovation and science across the entire value chain. In this sense, Ivan Borrego, manager of the Beauty Cluster comments: “When in 2020 we decided that this event was going to be virtual, we did so both to ensure its celebration regardless of the evolution of the pandemic and to contribute to the digital evolution of our sector As representatives of the sector in Spain, we could not allow the pandemic to freeze all the innovation ecosystems of our industry. The result has been that we have multiplied by four the attendees compared to the face-to-face version of last year, in addition to achieving a great Some of them are international (> 30%). The ‘Beauty Innovation Days’ has projected the innovation of the Spanish cosmetics and perfume industry internationally. It has contributed to generating business opportunities and connections that will lead to projects. In addition, it has allowed the industry alive, connected and focused on innovation through an event that brings together the best national and international knowledge. I would also like to highlight the importance of having first-hand knowledge of international innovation trends at the event, given that everything is changing so rapidly that companies have to adapt in order to compete. This knowledge is essential for the development of the competitiveness of our industry. “
For yet another year, it has opted for a program with high quality content, 54 live lectures, bringing together a total of 60 international speakers. 37 Elevator Pitch in which companies in the sector have presented innovations and new launches in skincare, haircare, technology, delivery systems, cosmetic manufacturing, testing, packaging, sustainability and fragrances.
