22 JUN | Revealed the finalists of the Digital Beauty Awards

Barcelona, 22 June 2021. The 2021 edition of the Digital Beauty Awards (DBA) already has finalists. After a long period of analysis of the 240 nominations received, on June 18 the jury of the awards selected the six best nominations for each of the ten awards to be awarded.

Driven by the Beauty Cluster, the largest Spanish cluster of cosmetics, perfumery and personal care, the DBA will award the best companies, professionals and initiatives in digitization and e-commerce in Spain and the winners will be announced in an exclusive gala to be held at Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in Barcelona on the 23rd of September.

According to Ivan Borrego, director of the DBA and the Beauty Cluster: ‘Digitization and e-commerce have been key during the worst moment of the pandemic for our sector to remain at the forefront. It is clear that the digital transformation and the application of deep tech will be essential for the growth and international competitiveness of Spanish industry. Thanks to these awards we have discovered success stories, technological innovations and leading experts to whom we will give the visibility they deserve so that the industry can be inspired by the best. In addition, having real references in digitalization, technology and electronic commerce in the jury will allow to approach to the Spanish industry of the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care to these experts “.

The awards feature a jury of experts in digitization, e-commerce and marketing and communication from the beauty industry selected by the cluster itself. The jury is chaired by Àlex Vallbona, vice-president of the Beauty Cluster and president of Birchbox Europa. The jury also has great references in digitization such as Genís Roca, Santi Sánchez, Mar Galtés, Rosa Girona, Susan Sánchez, Francesc Font and Rubén Bastón. It also has the main media in the sector, communication and design agencies specializing in the beauty industry and several independent experts with proven track record.
