Madrid, October 5, 2022. The Beauty Cluster collaborates again in this 5th edition of the Cosméticaforum in Madrid with a conference on “Aesthetics & Beauty“.
The morning passed with two blocks of 4 presentations each. During the first part, Dr. Gabriel Buendía, Scientific Director of the Institute of Photomedicine, gave a brief overview of the evolution of aesthetic medicine and how it influences cosmetic trends. Next, with Foreo, Sara Riballo, Head of Communication, accompanied by Dr. Sáenz de Santa María, head of the aesthetic medicine service at the International Dermatological Clinic, shows us the technology behind Foreo’s equipment. From Lehvoss, Elena Barbena, Sales Manager of Personal Care, focused on the intimate care of women, taking into account the main problem related to hormonal balance. To end this first block of the morning, Jesús González, General Manager Coordinator of Zurko, presented the in vitro and in vivo studies that are contemplated in color cosmetics, as well as trends that significantly mark the development of new products.
After the break, the second table resumed the course of the day with the experience and evolution of a company, Croma, where its Medical Marketing Manager, Victoria García, expresses how they have been able to transform over the years and adapt even after the COVID-19 pandemic. Next, aspects of regulation of cosmeceuticals and aesthetic products were discussed by Maria Galán, Regulatory Affairs Director of 2 Open China, who focused on the Chinese regulatory framework and its current situation, while Seila Leiras, Senior Consultant of Sigillum Knowledge Solutions covered the European and international part of this type of product. Finally, from Dr. Goya Analysis, Sara Rodríguez, Director of the Regulatory Department and Montse Ortega, Director of Clinical Evaluations, complemented the last two interventions including the evaluation of claims and efficacy of this type of product.
